07/01/19 RJ Feltham from the Greyhound Pub in Ashley via fields, across the river Bollin to the outskirts of Bowden then back through Ashley Hall estate. Had a good meal at the pub.

21/01/19 N Lamping From the Walton Arms along the Bridgewater canal to Moore, follow Moore Lane to Moore Nature Reserve. After a circuitous route around the Nature Reserve we returned to the Walton Arms.

04/02/19 J Adshead From the Staffordshire Way car park along the east edge of Rudyard lake following the line of the former Macclesfield/Leek railway. Over the dam @ south end of lake. Head north via the path above the westerly lake shore.. Pleasant views & features including the empty Cliffe Park Hall, down to the carpark. Lunch @ The Castle Inn, Congleton where we enjoyed a “full house” of haddock and chips, washed down with excellent ale.

18/02/19 R Miller From Kings Gap pub, Meols, walk inland past the Hoylake to the main road @ Long Rake Farm after 100yds. Turn back towards the coast to zigzag across fields to Meols Station. Returnito the Kings Gap along the promenade past The lifeboat station. Lunch @ the Cottage Loaf

From Old Post Office Thelwall via tracks to Warrington Road. Under Thelwall M6 Viaducts, to Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) to Bridgwater Canal. rejoin TPT to Lymmhay Lane, to Whitbarrow Lane. Onwards to Manchester Ship Canal west to Thelwall ferry. & return to Pickering Arms.

22/07/19 G W Scott From the Salt Barge follow the Trent Mersey canal to Anderton. Walk down to the R Weaver towards Northwich. Over Warrington Old Rd to Neumann's Flash & return to pub for a good lunch.

05/08/19 J Adshead From the car park @ west of Errwood reservoir over the dam, turn south, climbi to join undulating path east of the reservoir to Pack Horse Bridge over the infant R Goyt, north to road, then along road to return to the Goyt Valley car park. Good lunch & Marstons cask ale @ The Stanley Arms, Oven Bottom

19/08/19 RJ Feltham A walk around Antrobus through lanes and fields. We walked through a field of Alpacas who were extremely friendly. Started and finished at the Antrobus Arms where we had a very good lunch.

Weather good 20C but very wet in last 10 min
02/09/19 N Lamping From the Hazel Pear at Acton Bridge via Delamere Way to Lower Green and then to Crowton. A circular route was then followed along byways and country lanes back to Acton Bridge.

16/09/19 G Miller From the Salt Line Car Park, Hassall Green via Trent and Mersey Canal to Lock 64. Onto Wheelock Rail Trail . Cross the A534 take path past Sandbach Mill &d follow Houndings Lane pass Tall Chimneys. Wwalk through valley to the Car Park Lunch at the Blue Bell Inn, Smallwood

14/10/19 W Montgomery From Hartford brige along R Weaver to Hunts Lock, return along river, into Davenham Eaton Lane & down to Vale Royal Lock. Cross the river & return to Hartford Hall for lunch

28/10/19 G W Scott from Stafforshire Knot, Gillow Heath climb via track to Mow Lane, sharp right onto Congleton Edge to Cross road, up steps & continue along the Edge. After 0.5ml left and down steep steps to Congleton Edge Rd. Right & down to Biddulph Rd. 0.25ml ascend steps by viaduct to Biddulph Way. Return to pub via the Way & Marshfield Lane. Great views of Cheshire & Biddulph Valley along the walk, excellent lunch @ Staffs Knot.
