 John Adshead From main car park @ Shakerley Mere, clockwise round lake to path @ Middlewich Road, Cross M6 to Dams Lane & over fields to Chapel Lane & A50, Down bridleway, Sandy Lane join the footpath around the lakes to Middlewich Old Road @ Wash Lane Farm. Return to car park over M6 joining the path around the mere in a clockwise direction to complete the walk.

 Jeff Chrimes Little Budworth Country Park car park, to Park Rd, along Oulton Park boundary to track through country park pass polo ground to Beech Road to reach Whitehall Lane. Then along several tracks to Budworth Pool, through the village and back to the car park.

 John Feltham From car park in Wheelock to the Salt Line via the river. On to Ettiley Heath. Through village to join the Trent Mersey canal. Bback to Wheelock via the tow path.

 N Lamping From the Leigh Arms Acton Aridge along the Trent and Mersey canal towards Frodsham then to Dutton Locks via the Bluebell woods and returning to Acton Bridge.

 G Miller Start in Dixon Drive, Chelford track under the railway pass between lakes. Stubby Lane & the A537. on to Astle Farms,headi to St John’s’ Church, pass the Corner Shopp “ Opened 1705 “ & along Peover Lane. Bridleway back under railway into the centre of Chelford and back into Dixon Drive.

 J Adshead From White Barn, Cuddington along A49 take path opposit Bryn Farm, X Cuddington Lne to Bag Lne over fields to Onston. FP over feilds back to Bag Lne, over feilds of maize skirting Delamere Park to Mill Lne & return to Pub

 J Feltham From the Leigh Arms Acton Bridge. Along the Trent Mersey canal to Saltersford Lock.and then back to the pub via the River Weaver Way.where we had an excellent meal.

 J Chrimes Tarporley right from car park along High Street. Rright down alley over A49 to fields to Huxley Lane. Right into Pudding Lane & join Sandstone Trail. Cross fields & along path leading to the A49. Continue along Rode Street back to the the Rising Sun.

 N Lamping From the Hanging Gate, along West Rd, turn right down footpath to cross the A49. Proceed alongside the railway to Milton & on to Chapel Lane, Acton Cliff. Return to pub via roads, lanes and footpaths. Wet underfoot due to recent rain, but no rain during the walk.

 JG Miller From Lach Dennis Village Hall via Snig Hall, across 3 fields past Hulme Hall to Hulme Lane. along track past Cape of Good Hope Farm to Moss Lane various tracks and fields to Holmes Chapel Rd in the centre of Lach Dennis.

 W Montgomery From the Rising Sun in Tarporley round the perimeter of the Portal Golf club to the village of Eton. Back across the golf club the pub.

 N Lamping From Leigh Arms Acton Bridge, Willow Green Lane to the Trent and Mersey Canal. Head north to bridge 211, then to Dutton Locks. Cross the Weaver, proceed to Acton Cliff & via footpath Leigh Arms.

 G W Scott Hartford Hall over fields to Vale Royal Drive, cross R Weaver @ VR Locks & along tow path via Newbridge to opposite Salt Mine, up slope to Shaw's Lane & over railway to Smokehall Lane. Up to Moulton & through village & over 3 fields to Eaton Lane. Cut though to Hartford Rd then along A556 to Hartford for a good lunch with Roy Miller joining us.

 J Chrimes From Red Lion, Pickmere to Spinks Lane, across fields to Linnards Lane. Left to A556, left & left again to track to Smoker Hill Cottage and beyond. Continue over fields. to Frog Lane. Lleft into Park Lane. Ddown to Pickmere Lake via Mere Lane and then back and continue to pub.
